CLARIN-D – support for archiving and sharing linguistic data and tools

The development of linguistic resources like corpora, PoS taggers, language models, etc. is an essential part of research in computer and corpus-based linguistics. In this talk, we will show how CLARIN-D can support developers to archive and share their data and tools with the scientific community to increase:
- visibility,
- replicability, and
- sustainability.
We will discuss the services offered by the Saarland University (UdS) CLARIN-D centre, addressing questions such as:
- what should and can be archived?
- what are the advantages of archiving?
- how can a corpus or tool be archived?
