FrameNet: Current Status, Recent Activity, and Future Plans - Speaker: Miriam R. L. Petruck

FrameNet: Current Status, Recent Activity, and Future Plans

Miriam R L Petruck
Berkeley, CA, International Computer Science Institute

This talk provides an overview of the current status of FrameNet (framenet.icsi.berkeley.edu), along with an update about recent activity and future plans for work on the knowledge base. To be specific, recently FrameNet has refined its representation of support verb constructions, reconsidered its semantic type hierarchy, and added frames as well as frame-to-frame relations for locative relations, modals, and force dynamic concepts. Efforts are underway to integrate FrameNet and MetaNet (metanet.icsi.berkeley.edu), as well as to develop Multilingual FrameNet.
