I am Professor of Phonetics and Phonology at the Department of Language Science and Technology at Saarland University and Principal Investigator of SFB project C1. My research interests include the phonetics and phonology of intonation and rhythm, cross-language and individual differences in the production and perception of syllabic prominence in various languages, the relation between intonation and information structure, non-native prosody, and the interaction between information density and prosodic structure.
